Welcome to the Chamber's website.
The Chamber is here to support you and your business, to work for business
development in Maidenhead and surrounding areas, and to provide useful
information and services.
The Chamber is represented on various local forums and groups and works
closely with the Council to revitalise Maidenhead, combat crime, improve
facilities and various other initiatives.
We also work closely with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. As a statutory
body the chamber must be consulted by the local authority on any schemes that
might affect Maidenhead and we are fortunate to have a very good working relationship
with the Royal Borough.
Chamber Facts
- The Chamber was founded in 1905
- In 1978 the Chamber started the annual Christmas lights display
- Lobbying by the Chamber has led to many of the current developments including the Nicholson Centre, Pedestrianisation of the High Street and a Town Manager
- We have 400 members, made of businesses in the local area
- The Chamber is a consultative body for local development activities.
