The Chamber works closely with local government to help influence and shape the policy, strategy and action affecting businesses in the Borough.  
The Chamber can also raise any commercial grievances its members may have to the Borough Council.

Members of the Chamber Executive Committee sit on a number of local authority panels and act as the voice of the local business community in matters such as crime, parking, planning and licensing.

The Chamber regularly meet with the Leader of RBWM Council, the MD of RBWM Council and key members of their team to discuss issues that are of interest to members as far as the development of Maidenhead is concerned.  
The Chamber has been instrumental in getting the Council to agree or change policy when it is at odds with the wishes of Chamber members.
