CHAMBER CAMPAIGN

PLASTIC FREE MAIDENHEAD CAMPAIGN FOR BUSINESSES

The Chamber has started a campaign to help local businesses reduce Single-Use Plastic.

This has become a hot topic for businesses who want to understand how they can reduce waste, or what simple changes or substitutions to reduce waste. Plastic coffee cup lids and plastic bottles are common items used in business, but there are many environmentally friendly alternatives available.

The Chamber is working with Plastic Free Maidenhead and trying to bring the message to businesses, our aim is to share experiences from other businesses that have been through the process of reducing plastic waste.

The Chamber started its campaign with an event on Wednesday 12th December 2018 at the Three offices in Maidenhead.

Plastic Free Maidenhead, will share knowledge and offer simple ideas. Local business leaders will share their experiences and challenges in reducing plastic waste.

The Chamber will also be following up with more events and information to provide to local businesses.

Any business that has eco-friendly products should contact us so we can help them market their products to local businesses.
